With respect to how Hollywood projects knitting...I totally agree, it is not really given its proper due. So I was excited when I watched a movie, The Jane Austen Book Club, and in it, one character was knitting at the book club meeting. Then, at another meeting, she was teaching the others to knit! It was pretty cool!!
