It’s such an exciting time for all of you and Bryony will be close enough for visits! Our nephew (whose home is here in Virginia) is graduating from York St John this year and loved it so much he’s remaining in England for graduate studies. He is also an only child, so it’s been difficult for his parents for him to be so far away, but they are so happy for the wonderful experience and education he’s had there!

Kay and Dan you should both be so very proud of the way you have parented Bryony. To raise a young lady who is kind hearted & caring... who knows her own heart and mind... who has had the space, support and encouragement to focus on her education... and who now as a result is all ready to chase a new and wonderful dream... These things take time, love, devotion, and commitment... and these are EXACTLY what you should have spent all these years focussing on and creating for her through your parenting... You have done it perfectly... What a beautiful gift you have given, and how well you have prepared her... Teaching the task based skills will be easy to do together over the next few months, and will be a lovely project for you all as a family as part of your preparation for Bryony's new chapter... Be kind to yourselves... Hug each other alot... Change is challenging... but it always brings new joys and new adventures... Hang in there... we are all cheering the three of you on...
