Welcome to our 'Favourite Places to Knit - Revisited' collection

We are so excited to be back with a brand new 'Favourite Places to Knit - Revisited. This is the series where we take a look back at the original episodes of FPTK:

  • Dan will re-edit them and we will publish them here in a series

  • Just like our Gold Editions of 'My Favourite Colourways' or 'Walking the Dales', this series will be available IN FULL to Gold & Platinum Patrons

  • Whenever we publish a new episode though, we will make it available for one month to Silver Patrons as well!

'Favourite Places to Knit' (FPTK) would run for three years and along the way we would learn a huge amount about picture quality, sound quality and of course production techniques. But this is the start of the journey! Following on from our visit last time to 'The Monsal Trail' in Derbyshire, in today's episode we tell the story of the 'Birth of the Railways'. To do that we visit the first ever passenger railway station and we take a look at the very first passenger railway engine.
