Second chapter for the month is another helping of cheerleader fun. We meet some new characters and make our way towards the fun that awaits at Friday night's party where Amber can have her revenge.

Posting this story a little early since I'm going on vacation in two days so i'll be a little busy packing. I plan on trying to write while I'm away but honestly if I spend the whole time lounging on a beach I don't think anyone will really judge me. I'll be back by the 17th and by then I hope to have planned out the next arc for Succubus Cheat Sheet and Snake Goddess for everyone to enjoy. I remember last year I ran a poll to see which of the new girls Ariel would choose to enslave and sleep with in the next chapter so you guys will finally be able to see the winner. See you all soon :)

Glad to see the second chapter. Amber clearly got put through the wringer at the Cheerleader tryout. She's clearly quite capable athletically even with her extra weight on top. Amber didn't try and tip the decision in her favor like she did with all her teachers, so she thought that she had an honest shot--and she did--but for Ashley. I'm glad that we get to see some characterizations and PoV from the cheerleaders towards their 'fearless leader'. Somehow, I don't think that 'We laughed at you because we are bullied by the Team Captain is going to cut it with Amber, though. The seduction of Ashley's roommate was interesting and hot, clearly, fascination and desire for her boobs is always taking place, regardless if the girl in question is gay or straight. Getting hit hard by the breast power multiple times might well do a number on a girl's orientation? The appearance of the roommate of the enemy makes me wonder about Amber's roommate?

Agreed. :) Sammy went a long way towards generating some sympathy for Amber; that tryout was brutal. My personal theory is that Amber's not trying to build an army, just take advantage of her natural assets. She didn't cheat her way onto the team because she really wanted to work for it. The powers work on anyone, for the most part... As for Amber's own roommate, it seems likely. She's clearly not averse to using her powers to make her life easier, as evidence by her teachers. And she's clearly got revenge in mind for Ashley and the rest of the cheer squad. Maybe she just doesn't want to do the dishes, so she cornered her roomie in the shower or something. :P But I doubt that'll be in the story.

Things are off to a great start! If you like the PoVs you're in luck, since each cheerleader will have her focus chapter as we go. We haven't even met the whole team yet. :D This story won't run as long as FFHT has, not by half, but it's definitely got a faster pace as a result. Looking over my notes, once the party starts the story takes place pretty much in real-time. There's some flashbacks but otherwise it's a linear progression. I'm not going to give anything away here, but I'm jumping for joy at how well things are starting off. ForeShadow hit the nail on the head earlier with that "Minotaur in the Labyrinth" reference. Things are good and they'll get better very soon. :)

That sounds like good news, as I have always felt that characterization and PoV are great tools for Mind Control stories. Some stories are akin to dirty laundry lists of fetish stuff written as a plot summary to flat characters rather than being stories at all when MC is involved. Stories require conflict, and if there is no real chance of the subjects winning, then characterization is what needs to carry the story. In the victims, and the controller as well. Right now we have Amber as the protagonist controller, and it looks like Maria will be the protagonist subject, whether she'll be a doomed heroine or not remains to be seen. Or conversely, if Amber ruins her 'golden ticket' through greed and petty revenge. But the other girls might be interesting in their own right, Sammy has shown that she can provide some good depth to secondary characters, so we'll see what Amber finds as she strips off their masks. Or if she even cares?

The old saying goes: Everyone's the protagonist of their own story. I wanted each character to feel distinct enough to be a potential lead so you can't look at any one girl and say "This one is going all the way." But I think you'll like what's in store. Sammy's great with characterization so we'll see some standouts before the games begin.
