Finishing out 2017 is the next chapter of the series, in which Rebecca goes to confront Ashley, the former queen bee and the first cheerleader to become one of Amber's eager slaves. We haven't seen her since chapter 4, so who knows what kind of state she'll be in? Hope you all enjoy the latest chapter of the thrilling series.

And I also want to wish everyone a happy new year. This year was tough on me in so many ways that I never expected. The truth is that I don't even remember the first three months of the year. That time was just a blur from where I'd almost completely shut down, but all of you helped me through it. You all sent such amazing sympathetic messages and encouraged me to get back to writing. I know it's been an especially rocky year for all of you patrons out there as I've gotten back onto my feet. All I can say is that you have my deepest thanks for sticking with me. I'm finishing the year in a much stronger place than when I started. 

I've got a lot of plans for 2018, including getting back to publishing books and working on more exclusive series and projects. I'll need to figure out a good schedule for all the series that I have running because there are a lot of things going at once, but I'm confident I'll work it out. I'm also starting up on the next arc of It Runs in the Family for those of you who are fans, and it should be the longest arc so far with a lot of fun action in it. There may also be some other surprising returns, which I don't want to talk about just yet until I get more work done on them. For now, I just want to wish you all an amazing year, and to promise to work my hardest to make 2018 my best year yet as a writer. It's a challenge I'm looking forward to meeting :)

I always fear analyzing your chapters too closely as it seems I'm producing spoilers! Instead of giving the "Spoilers" warning, I'll just say that once again you presented a situation where events did not unfold like expected. But, far more than that, I've never read a chapter that has done more to keep me guessing as to what was going to happen or what was really going on! Trance states that are viewed subjectively provide a great deal of flexibility and dream logic. Plus, the breast power has a 'sticking power'. Despite beating up the holder of that power just minutes earlier, Rebecca's previous exposures have indeed retained a hold on her imagination. Ashley's piece makes me wonder anew if the breast power is not just 'neutral' as a mind control mechanism, but are, in fact, fundamentally beneficent and nurturing? A maternal goddess indeed, even if the goddess herself might be corruptive? Subjects just have a way of finding their 'better selves"? Although, on the other hand, subjects tend to also become submissive and awed naturally as well, even without specific verbal programming. Although, shy Maria seems to have had a surprising opposite development! Or, at least Maria is 'grabbing the brass ring' that's unexpectedly appeared before her, giving lease to impossible fantasies of domination the nerd girl might have had? Although, Amber would seem to be benevolent in her own mind, and not out to corrupt or twist her victims, I'm not sure if her ideals match her actions. If nothing else, her sense for the dramatic and making this a horror scenario has boomeranged on her, at least for now. The 'goddess' relegated to the closet is something for her to think about. And, lest we forget, the Breast Power does have the possibility of being addictive. It would seem that imagining them might be enough to feed that need, which might be a panacea to folks from Amber's high school life? To, again, speculate by jumping between stories, Cathy's problem not just being forced to stay away from Amy, but having been forced to forget about her breasts, which may have been just as bad or worse than staying out of the Amy's way? Amy's slaves might have contented themselves with ingrained memories? Also, interesting developments that Rebecca apparently has romantic leanings for Maria.
