This certainly has been a hell of a summer for me, with me having some kind of health or personal situation that takes up time I wanted to spend writing. Just as I'm ahead with this month's stories I end up doing something and pulling a muscle in my back. I can't sit up to write or edit for more than 20 or 30 minutes at a time without being in pain, so my work has ground to an unfortunate halt.

The doctor has given me some anti-inflammatory medication and some muscle relaxants, and I'm going to try and take the next 4 or 5 days just to relax and focus on getting myself back together. I have an idea towards the last four stories needed for the month so they shouldn't take too long once I can get myself back in the chair to write again. As you saw I just got the first update out on time, and if anything there might only be a slight delay to the second update, where it might come out the 25th or double it up with the update for the 30th.

I'm sorry for having so many delays on the writing this summer, and believe me, I've gotten to a faster writing pace because of it and I'm excited to actually be writing full time when I'm back to 100%. I didn't have time to set up the vote this week because of my back, although it seems like a good bet that the winners would be between Snake Goddess, It Runs in the Family and maybe another Managing the Office. Instead I'm going to take a cue from the last poll I did that got a lot of great feedback from everyone. So tomorrow I'll list out some of my shorter ideas to see which ones you guys would be most excited to see. Some can be one shots, or come in 2 or 3 parts. I'll let you know what I see for the idea, as well as get any feedback from all of you on what you would like to see included. I had a lot of fun discussing the ideas from last month, so I'd love to have a conversation like that again. I should have something posted soon with a bunch of unique ideas to talk about. Not all of them may be winners, but I want to give everyone a variety to think about lol.

Hope everyone enjoys the new stories!

You are creating great stories, always, and there's no change in our (or at least mine) loyalty. We are all humans and we all have issues. Noone expects you to produce content with machine-like recurrence. Please be safe and be well. We love you.

WORRY NOT MISTR- I mean beloved writer, we ser- i mean ... We still love you and your work Mistre- i mean beloved writer... (Can I have a cookie now?) In all seriousness you still turned out work despite all the 'events' that occurred more than what many should be able to ask of you with or without them, you truly are a talent. Am with you here.

Aww, sorry to hear that! Get well soon! :( And I like the story-planning ideas going forward. :)

I think it is in everyone's interest, when you write while in a much more fit state. Better times will come for sure.

Making yourself work in such a state is a bad idea. You'll get worse before you get better. We can wait for you to recover. Get well soon.

Take care of yourself and heal. I'm praying to the Snake Goddess for your speedy recovery.

ParagonRocky

Best wishes, feel better. :)

Taking some time to heal up is always the right choice!

Getting up on your feet periodically, taking walks and doing regular back exercises is important when one is sitting down much of the day.

I've been trying to move around and do a bit of yoga, though I'm pretty bad at it haha
