really looking forward to this one, ngl. It's about time we finally get a bit more of class b and see what the rest of them can do. yeah, we saw a few of them in action, back during the sports festival, but i always enjoy learning a bit more about the characters, their powers and most important their personalities and motivations, so this is gonna be fun for sure.

Alicia just squeeing over all the good beans in class B, and Shinso getting his chance..... so wholesome!

A bit more explanation on the doomsday theory - don't worry, no spoilers. Basically, Quirks are passed on to the next generation in a few ways. The rarest is a mutation type Quirk that is very different to previous Quirks in the family tree. Think Eri as an example - these are usually very strong, very hard to control Quirks. The other types are as follows: - Exact copies of either parent. Pretty self-explanatory - This seems to be one of the more usual type of Quirk inheritance, having the same Quirk as a parent or grandparent (rarer). Sometimes the Quirk will be a bit stronger than the previous Quirk but usually they're the same - this does, however, add the genetics of the other parent into future equations, keep in mind. - A mix of both parents' Quirks. This usually results in either stronger Quirks or more versatile Quirks. This seems to be one of the more usual type of Quirk inheritences, like the exact copies. - Quirkless - very rare (20% of the world's population is Quirkless, however only a sliver of that is new babies born without Quirks. It's mostly older generations that don't have Quirks and this has lessened over time.) Now let's take mutations and Quirkless out of the equation and look at just the main basic Quirks - each generation is given more options of Quirk changes and variations, making for stronger Quirks. The doomsday theory states that eventually Quirks will grow too strong and unweildy for people to make use of. Let's just take a simple example, say a woman who has hair that lets off light and a man who can breathe underwater and has gills. Their offspring may either inherit either of those quirks or a mix - let's say they have two kids - one who has a copy of father and another who has a mix that lets their hair glow underwater. Now these kids grow up and get married - the Waterbreather marries someone who can breathe fire. The Glower marries someone who can put people to sleep by singing. Now they have kids. Family 1 (water) has two kids - one can breathe fire (copy) and the other has flame-like hair the glows. Family 2 (glow) also has two kids - one can cause others' hair to glow when they sing and the other can sing underwater and send them to sleep. The kids grow up and marry all over again. Firebreather marries someone who has a lizard mutation and they have a child who can breathe fire, and has glowing scales. Flame-hair marries someone who controls plants and their child can make plants glow and set them on fire at will. Hairglow marries someone who can change size and their child can make parts of their body grow based on songs they sing. Siren marries someone who can make quakes when they touch something, and their child can now sing earthquakes and seaquakes into existence. The powers get more and more ridiculous based on what previous Quirks can be drawn from, what new Quirks are added to the bloodline and how often they mix and change and create new quirks. Of course, the theory does ignore the idea that most Quirks seem to have some sort of biological component that fits them to the body of the holder of the Quirk, usually - it seems few quirks are bad matches - usually mutation Quirks from what we've seen thus far, and not often normal ones (though we've seen examples of such like with Laserlad.) Hope you enjoyed my ted talk.

I think he's actually supposed to be based on Beast from the X-men - pretty smart base form who goes dumb when ragey. OG Beast turned himself in the Beast by experimentation and trying to 'fix' himself afterwards, though, but it's a neat call-back.
