FF saved Anasui, that's why her spirit emerged from his body. I think Anasui was trying to insert the disk into FF, but FF instead opted to heal Anasui because she recognised she was also dying.

The bug thing was Rikiel's stand, Sky High. It has nothing to do with Rhinoceros beetle. Rhinoceros beetle is just one of the 14 phrases Pucci learned from Jotaro's memories that was in Dio's diary, and a step to fuse with the Green baby.

I'm sorry about your medication troubles Alicia, that's horrifying to hear. as Sir Nil said, FF gave their life to heal Anasui when he told them to take Jotaro's disc. it was basically FF's act of defiance to Anasui, proving that they have a soul with a will of their own. also, I always figured that Jolyne and the two kinda swung from the helicopter in a wider arc, landing more gently in the water, but yeah it was animated poorly. sorry for formatting I'm on my phone rn

FF was given the choice by Annasui to use his body as their vessel as he's already dying and save the disc, but instead FF chose to just heal him and not possess him that led to them dying. Also, the "rhinoceros beetle" part just appeared as one of the words Pucci said while walking near the Green Baby so he can merge with the it. People were telling you about it because you missed it. That beetle in Rikiel's hand is just his actual stand.
