I love how Aizawa takes over explaining Present Mic's quirk since Mic usually does the quirk voiceovers. Best buds 4 life

Alicia, on the mute topic, you would LOVE Komi Can’t Communicate

Pretty sure that Mineta was crying blood because he was crying so hard that he ran out of tears.

Sharles Davis Kendy

Mineta's nickname will forever be the Grapist for me.

Mortis

Nezu is one of only 3 examples we have in my hero’s world of an animal with a quirk.

Patrick

did you notice how when the quirks get explained its usually present mic that says them, but when it was his turn it was his buddy aizawa (eraserhead). thought it was a cool lil detail.

Selective muteism reminds me of an anime called "Komi-san can't communicate". It's a cute rom-com about a guy trying to help an anxious bean to make friends.

The easy way for me to remember Mina Ashido name is, well her name pun. I think the author named her after Amino acids, her Qurik is also Acid. :D Most of the Names are some puns, or references to their quirks or personality.

Golden Witch Beatrice

I’m so dumb I just realized after all these years that the principal is a Rocket the Raccoon reference. I knew he loved Marvel and DC comics already(Sero is inspired by Spider-Man) so idk why I never put two and two together

It's kind of an... issue, question mark? When there's so many characters that a lot of them don't get to spend too much time in the lime light. MHA certainly isn't the only series with this issue and not the worst about it but there are definitely characters I wish we could see more of. I really want to see Earphone Jack more. She's like a cool punk rock girl with sound powers, how cool is that? It's like made to appeal to my tastes perfectly.

Snipe was a difficult opponent against Hagakure (Invisible Girl) because he doesn't need to see his opponent for his quirk to work. Shoji (Tentacle Guy) was a great support choice since he can also utilize hearing to pinpoint people.

The exam where Kaminari and Mina faced off against Principal Nezu is just a high stakes game of Mousetrap

Liesmith

Man I love these MHA reactions.

Catching up a day later, the biggest difference between Denji Chainsaw Man and Mineta Local Sex Criminal is that Denji for the longest time had no real way of differentiating love and sex. He didn't have family, he had never been cared for, so in his mind sexual acts = love, whileas Mineta has (from what we've seen) a pretty decent home life and a vast array of friends who support and tolerate him, He's just perpetually horny, as teenagers do. So I think it's easy enough to like one and not the other. Besides Mineta's creepy about it 🤷

Minetas balls stick to everything BUT himself

Still perfectly valid to not like Mineta since his comments and pervertedness is an understandable annoying trait especially if it's a majority of what he does while on screen. But his segment does a nice job at showing you his character, even if it's still just surface level stuff and not enough to win people over it's perfectly fine. Mineta in a way was someone similar to Deku but more prone to lean into panic and lose confidence if the situation gets even slightly difficulty. But he's shown a steady development with him looking up to Deku too, leaning into his cowardly ways and using it to not only fool people around him but even the viewers who would of course doubt him. He's always had that surprising amount of cleverness to him and great usage of a quirk that on the surface does very little combat wise but incredibly good at immobilizing people. If anything it's how he passed the entrance exam according to Horikoshi, writing on Mineta's character page that he laid out traps with the sticky balls to caused the robots to tear themselves apart accidentally. All in all, even with how much of a disliked character he is there's still so much thought and work Horikoshi puts behind him.

Minetta is a pervy little creep, but there is at least a small... tiny little sliver of decency and bravery buried somewhere deep inside that can come out now and then. But, more importantly, Koda is just so adorable!

Machine River

I just wanna say, it doesn’t matter whether you call something or you’re right or wrong about any predictions. It’s fun making predictions either way, but it shouldn’t have to be like an endless game where you try to call the next thing over and over again forever for every show you watch. It’s fine to just watch the show and enjoy the twists and turns without feeling pressure to call them out beforehand.

TrixieTurner

Oh mineta, the worst little turd. I can't believe thats the costume he came up with when his goal is to get girls.

i missed alicia's 'they are hoein me'

I love ochaco going full baki on 13

There's no question mineta is a creepy perv(or at least was pre mid season 5, he calms down a ton). But he has SO MUCH POTENTIAL. If we ever get a sequel series, it'd be nice to see a matured version of him.
