"They really did me like that." ... Welcome to it, boo. This show do be like that.

Hey I don’t know what way you use for your videos on here but I just joined the patreon and I am repeatedly having problems with the videos just not playing or freezing suddenly and never starting again even though I have good connection

Concerning acting quality, I can deal with a bad main if the supporting cast is on point, but if the main actor is the only one that is worth watching then it's going to be a uphill battle depending on how bad everyone else is.

I recommend the full song if the op translated it’s great.

To answer your question about how I’d feel if there was only 1 good actor, it depends on the type of MC? If the MC isn’t so driven or motivated then I’d just stop watching. But if it’s a driven character I’d still watch.

To answer your question about just one good actor depending on how good they were I might might watch the work just to get a feel for that actor but it wouldn’t make me feel any better about the work itself and it would probably make me seriously write off the other actors forever. Kana’s approach where nobody seems much worse then the others is good for creating an overall better impression for the whole group while sacrificing a possible better impression for just her.

Not sure if you realize this at some point but very important note for Arima’s character, that shot with her being dead inside was not her, it was part of the episode they were watching

Kana's character reminds me of "Your lie in april". Without spoiling too much, it's about a genius pianist, who gives up on piano, for reasons. Later on we get to learn about his two childhood rivals, a girl and a boy who shared a similar chemistry with him. He didn't really notice them in his childhood career days, but they were looking up to him and were devastated, when he decided to quit, cause they really wanted to be as good as him or better. He became an inspiration for them and they felt like his talent is going to waste. Similar to the professor from "Good Will Hunting". When you watch someone with a talent for this one thing that you love and would give anything to have that sort of talent it's also painful to watch them waste it. I think Kana desperatly wants Aqua to act, cause she doesn't want for his talent to go to waste and she also needs him to be a figure, that she can live up to and chase after and hopefully surpass in the future. Yes she was bratty and thought she was the best, but seing Aqua act so much better than her was a reality punch for her. When she started crying and begging for a retake it wasn't as bratty as one might think. It was just like admiting defeat. I went on too long again, but I think Kana's and Aqua's chemistry is very fascinating.

think saw 1/2 comments but Kana scene in the room is just a scene from the show and not her real state. i did it with voice actors ^^ I weatched some bad animes just because 1-2 of my favorite voice actor would be in there

Thanks for the episode! Even though I have no plans to go into the film or entertainment industry myself, I still always enjoy learning more about it through your tangents and commentary :) it's interesting stuff!

Personally, I see Arima's "obsession" with Aqua as a result of peaking in her early childhood and seeing him as the only one who was above her at the time, so he's almost like her hope for breaking back into the industry and a goal to strive for/someone to look up to. I really relate to her because I swear I peaked in middle/high school T-T

I guess to be fair there's only been one lead-in to the ED so far, but it's still really funny to see Alicia's reaction even though she already saw that this is how they do outros. All this time after Part 1 and she's still getting "To Be Continue'd"

I appreciate you increasing the volume on the anime. The sound volume on the anime itself was always kinda low, and your mic volume still is good, I can hear you fine still.

Sancturillore -- Élie Simard-Wallot

About the body and mental age thing, do keep in mind that hormones and brain growth do influence the mind. As he grew up in his new life, his mind adapted and became more aligned with the body. That's normal. A mind isn't something ethereal. It is simply the combination of memories, hormones and other fluxes within the brain. There was a disparity at first, but nature runs its course. This isn't just a "fan theory." It's also brought up here and there in the manga (not as much in the anime).

aye chief the depresso seen with her in the dark and cans on the floor were for the tv show, I just thought I should point that out.

Chaolao

Hmm, I see, no wonder it felt like it was missing a few stuff outside the manga.

Setsuna

Timing wise it should be probaly talked about in the next episode to release

Ryzsard

i just listened to the full version of the opening song and damn... its a wild ride xD
