The one thing i dont like about the anime ending is they removed a small detail that means so much. Remeber how in the backstory, Giorno as a baby realised crying is futile as his mom was hoeing outside and wouldn't be able to hear him? So he just ended up shaking instead of crying. In the manga, when Mista asked Giorno to come to the colloseum for Bruno, Giorno was shaking.

The best way to explain what GER does is to think of packet loss. It’s like when a character in a video game is set on fire but then they have connectivity issues, resulting in them running and hitting zero hp, only to rubber band back to where they were five seconds ago infinitely. Diavolo was put into an infinite loop of DYING without ever actually becoming DEAD.

his prediction saw him winning, this will 100% happen. GER made sure he will never win, this will also 100% happen. he is in a paradox where he will never wins and dies over and over for an eternity. he used his stand to defy his fated death over and over again, his punishment is GER wont let him die but fate keeps trying to kill him forever.

So probably totally wrong about GER, but I like to think the reason he has bullshit OP powers is that in episode 2 when he punches Bruno and causes his mind to go into overdrive, it's just that. GER is able to do that but from any distance and to the Nth degree. Hence the entire infinite deaths.
