ngl, I honestly like the Agni Kai with Zuko vs Azula more than Ozai vs Aang. The emotional stakes are insane, the animation is breathtaking, and the soundtrack is so epic yet so melancholic. It’s just perfect.

Azula is such an amazing villain, one of my favorites, you almost forget she was 14 and did what she did to survive, and unlike zuko she adapted to her environment and appealed in the worst ways possible to Ozai in an attempt to earn his 'affection' she's truly a victim of her circumstances

Fun fact, every Agni Kai we see has been dishonored in some way or another. Azula fought someone not involved, Zhao tried a cheap shot after he lost, and Zuko refused to fight against Ozai. Also, Aang not wanting to kill Ozai goes beyond just "the monks taught me". He is the last of his people. If he doesn't carry on their teachings, who will? Ozai said that Aang's people were weak, and that they did not deserve to live in 'his world'. Aang needed to show the world that what the monks believed in was worth dying for, that their beliefs and way of life meant something.

Other legal systems are different, but in the US if the police are asking questions about you, the only things you should say is "Am I being detained or am I free to go" if you're not in a formal setting like an interrogation room yet. And if they say they are detaining you, the only thing you should say is "I want a lawyer present and I will not consider making any statement until one has been provided." After that either STFU entirely until your lawyer comes or say the same line again. Legally speaking, literally nothing you say to a cop can ever, ever, help you, but anything you say can and WILL be used against you. Trying to outwork the law or our crooked ass legal system when dealing with people who work with it all day everyday for their professional lives is like climbing into the ring with an Olympic level boxer when you've never even put on boxing gloves before and betting your life that you're going to win. It ain't gonna happen. Get yourself someone who (hopefully) is on the same level to do the fighting for you.
