My question in all this is, where the fuck is jotaro's dad? did no one ever tell him his wife was dying while he was on tour? which leads to if he knows he's a scumbag, if no one tells him he might be pissed as fuck when he gets back and learns about this.

RIP Iggy and Abdul. You know, Iggy gets it even worse in the 90's OVA, Vanilla Ice disintegrates his lower half entirely, it's nasty. I like it that the show is like "No, they're not coming back, they're dead, their ghosts went to heaven, stakes are real now, get with it". Roses really is like me fr fr. Nukesaku, 抜け作, can be translated as "fool" or "blockhead". Not entirely sure why. 抜 is like to pull out, draw out, omit, remove and 作 is like a work or production. Not sure how combining the two results in an insult, "removing work"? Idk.

Well it is quite heavily implied that his dad is a deadbeat. That's why Jotaro is such an asshole at the start of part 3, his dad isn't in his life and Holly just lets him get away with his behavior because she believes he's good deep down which is true but no excuse to act like that.

Gotta admit, I had a viscerally angry reaction when the show suddenly cut to Japan immediately after the death of Iggy an Avdol. I shared that reflexive "why the FUCK are we HERE?!".

For real, if it wasn't for Vanilla Ice becoming a vampire and dying from sunlight, the Stardust Crusaders would have just lost flat out. The fact that he's completely invincible when he goes ball mode is OP even by JoJo standards.
