Same, I was actually pretty big into SAO in like, middle school but I dropped it after Mother's Rosario. I think it's confirmed the guy who wrote it didn't even play MMOs, it just made a convenient backdrop for the story, which itself is pretty middling, but I still think it has its moments. And I have to give it credit for actually having an interesting setup for the isekai.

The first 14 episodes of Sword art is great, probably in my top 20, but after ep 14 my enjoyment of it plummets.

I feel like SAO could of been better if it was a little slower paced. I do think one episode they are like floor 30 or lower, the next episode they are in the upper 80's. Now the spin off gun gale alternate is imo the best, I heard there is a season 2 coming which makes no sense as I don't see what else they can do unless it's just another sub story following more new characters.

Her name IS Enya. Enyaba/Enya-ba is just whatever character is addressing her combining her name with the suffix for older women.

SAO is decent enough for someone newer to isekai. I found enough things to like that got me through seasons 1-2, but I never really got into it because of how bad and inconsistent it is as an MMO. I feel like it's not made for people who enjoy MMOs. Similar to Ready Player One, it presents a lot of concepts your mind can chew on, but the actual world and game rules their story presents would never actually survive irl play testing.
