I wish she also reacted to the canon Megumin prequel season. It's super good, not to mention you get more backstory on Megumin, her family and village (Including Yunyun). Also the ending song is super adorable.

This movie actually made me ship Megumin and Kazuma like those two have the most genuine relationship of the whole group and while Kazutrash can see her "as a woman" she's also the only one that can get him to see her and treat her as a person and who likewise seems to reciprocate that treatment. They enable the fuck out of each other allowing both to be the little gremlins and addicts they are, but the only time I see them being genuine good people is with each other.

Seeing this in theaters was a blast. I remember everyone was memeing at the time because the screenwriter for Pulp fiction reviewed it and called it “the reason cinema exists” I do hope you watch the prequel at some point, whether before or after season 3, it’s extremely fun and introduces a lot of fan favorite characters going forward

Every time Alicia comments on Megumin's spell effects, it makes me yern even more for her to react to Isekai Quartet. I love Megumin and YunYun in that spinoff series. But alas, I think she still needs to watch a few more shows.

Even though I love this movie, the gag about Kazuma almost getting raped is one of the few jokes in the series that doesn't land for me. I don't know why the "it's funny because the victim is male" thing is so common.

Alicia reacting to the Crimson Demon Spinoff and Isekai Quartet would be amazing. For Isekai Quartet though, she needs to watch Re: Zero, the Saga of Tanya the Evil and Overlord. The later of which is on her roadmap for this year... And I can not wait!

I forgot just how crazy this movie was and my God is it glorious. I swear the budget for it must've looked like 45% for the Magic and Explosions, 45% Sylvia's boob jiggling and 10% everything else.

The thing to remember, Kazuma is not that much older than Megumin. Their age range is perfectly in line with what many may deem appropriate for young relationships. Each of the characters has a fundamental flaw. Kazuma's flaw is his dirty mind and how easily he'll fall to temptation.

Yup. Since this was a movie and not a season of the show, they wanted to end it with something flashy. While i have some disagreements with how they portrayed the end, I believe the audience really needed that super-mega-explosion-beam.

End of the movie is probably when Megumin starts having legitimate feelings for Kazuma, even if their relationship is still a bit... weird.

the ending always makes me tear up with the act of friendship by Kazuma dumping points into explosion magic also, makes you wonder if there's any restriction to someone being able to spend others' points.. just any time they have access to the card?

After watching the scene of the guy hanging clothes from a rifle it just makes wonder what if we made an Isekai anime where the main character’s only real power is that he has a gun and modern intelligence everyone thinks he’s some kind of dangerous magic user because kills people from far away but he’s just an average guy
