Hey Guys! Continuing with our alternates for character pics is the full rendering of Snipe-Hunter done by Phil Cho.

Here's a refresher on her origin if you need it:

Alva Hart was born with two traits that made her unusual as a child. Tee first was that her eyes were blind, and the second was that her ears were strangely pointed. ALva’s mother told her daughter that her father had been an elf, and that he had vanished without a trace shortly after his daughter was born. Although Alva, filled with childish wonder, accepted this story without question, any adults she repeated it to thought that it was just a lie her mother had told her to explain away her deadbeat dad. Alva was frustrated by her blindness. She felt that she was prevented from doing things that other kids could do. When Alva was eight and the other kids from her neighborhood were set to go to summer camp, Alva was so saddened that her mother contacted the camp to see if some accommodations could be made for her daughter. The camp agreed, and so Alva went off to summer camp at Camp Elvenwood. One night, when the counselors were asleep, some of the boys snuck over to the girls’ cabins and invited them on a “snipe hunt”. Alva wasn’t aware of the prank, but insisted she be allowed to go along. Initially the boys told her to mind her own business, but when she threatened to wake the counselors up they reluctantly allowed her to come.

Out in the woods, something happened to Alva which had never happened to her before: she saw something. Specifically what she was seeing was a door, where the word of magic met the world of humans. Even though Alva was blind to light, she was able to see magic. Transfixed by the phenomenon, she went off on her own and the other children lost track of her. She then walked through the door and found herself in the world of elves. Once there, the portal closed behind her, trapping her. However, she met her father there for the first time. Her mother had been telling the truth, her father was an elvish diplomat named Laeron. Laeron claimed that he had been forced to leave Alva in order to prevent a war in the magical world, and he brought his daughter into elvish society. She was trained to be a warrior, and given spells that would allow her to work around her blindness. She became an elvish archer, and though she missed her mother she settled into her new life and her new world. However, as time goes on, Laeron’s behavior seems stranger and stranger to her. She begins to expect that he’s not precisely what he claims to be.

POWERS AND ABILITIES

• Due to her Elvish blood, Alva is much stronger, faster, and more agile than a normal human.
• Alva is a trained and very talented archer. Because of her ability to see magic, she is usually able to nail magical targets, which accounts for most of the creatures in the world she lives in. If her target is not a magical creature, she will scatter magical particles around that rest on her surrounding environment and allow her to detect objects and people.
• Alva can enhance her arrows with a variety of spells. Some are very simple, such as spells that make her arrows explode. Others are more complex, such as arrows that transport her targets to “the in between”, an area between worlds which looks like the human world but is devoid of people.
