Update: Tyrion, The Expanse, Alt Schwift X, All Tomorrows, Asshai (Patreon)

Hey guys, the Patron vote is closed, and the winner is Tyrion Lannister. In the TV show, Tyrion became a pretty boring character after Season 4 – an ineffectual, milquetoast good guy with little impact on the plot. But in the books, Tyrion goes down a dark and complex path, entangled with Illyrio, Young Griff, Jorah, Penny, slavers, mercenaries… And the battle for Meereen at the start of Winds. Tyrion is an iconic and fascinating character, so we’re gonna make a big video all about his arc, from beginning to its potential end.

Also, I’ve arranged an interview with Daniel Abraham and Ty Franck, the authors of The Expanse! We've made seven videos about the series over the years, and it’ll be really cool to chat with the creators themselves. If you’ve got burning questions about the Expanse, comment them below and I’ll pick a couple to ask Dan and Ty. I’m planning to release the conversation as the first episode of the Alt Shift X Podcast. (With an early exclusive release for the Patrons, of course 😉)

ICYMI, Alt Schwift X made a giant video about ASOIAF theories. It's an Alt Schwift X video, not an Alt Shift X video – so it's unpolished and casual and not what you'd call concise – but you might get a kick out of it. Also, the one hundredth episode of the Game of Thrones Abridged podcast is livestreaming in 11 hours at this link! I wouldn't normally shout-out my arch-rival Alt Schwift X, but apparently this episode involves raising some money for charity – so it might be worth checking out.

We've also got a crazy video coming out soon called All Tomorrows. It’s an abridged retelling of a strange sci fi story by an artist called C. M. Kosemen, illustrated with his artwork (with his permission). It’s probably the weirdest Alt Shift X video ever, and I hope yall will enjoy it!

The Asshai video is also happening, but we’re waiting on some artwork to be completed before finishing the vid.
