Update: The Mystery Knight & The Expanse (Patreon)

It was recently reported that HBO is developing a Game of Thrones prequel TV show about Dunk & Egg! And it just so happens that we've almost finished our video about the third and final published Dunk & Egg story, The Mystery Knight. The Mystery Knight is the longest and most complex of the Dunk & Egg tales, so this video is the biggest of the three. It's all about the Second Blackfyre Rebellion, Bloodraven, a Cat and a Snail, prophecy, Brienne parallels, real historical inspirations, and some great dick jokes about "jousting". Excited to get this out soon!

...But, we've gotta put The Mystery Knight aside for now. Because The Expanse Season 5 finale is coming on Feb 3rd, and Amazon has kindly given us early access to the whole season. I'm also hoping to maaybe get an interview with Expanse author Ty Franck, so if you've got questions for the author, comment them below! We're making two videos about Season 5 – one focussing on the TV show, and another comparing the season to the book, Nemesis Games.

So there'll be two Expanse videos on Feb 3rd, then we'll finish the Mystery Knight video. After that, we'll roll on to the Blackfyre Rebellions video. And after that – more ASOIAF, Dune, non-fiction, maybe His Dark Materials, and who knows what else.
