Essos update (Patreon)

The Essos video script is mostly complete – this is a relatively easy one to write, since most of the info comes straight from The World of Ice and Fire. The video will be about ~17 minutes long, covering Sothoryos and the Basilisk Isles, Sarnor and the Ifequevron, the Shivering Sea and Ib, the Thousand Islands, the Bones, Yi Ti, Leng, the Jogos Nhai, and Asshai. We’re including some speculation on the mysteries of the Great Empire of the Dawn and Asshai – like the fascinating similarities between Azor Ahai and the last hero; the Five Forts and the Wall; the Bloodstone Emperor and the Night’s King – but we’ll save a more in-depth analysis of those theories for another video.

The tricky part of this video is getting the imagery – Unseen Westeros is providing some artwork, but we’ll need more… Might commission some from fan artists – which’ll take time. So now I reckon we’ll return focus to The Expanse video – from the exotic unknown of Essos, to the mysterious reaches of space (:
