Hello! Everyone!

I'm incredibly excited to upload a Very Important Link to you today: The near-final (like, revision 0.99) PDF edition of Good Nintentions 1985. I am placing an order for a printed proof today and want to give that a once-over before sending out physical editions to book-tier backers. Digital data, however, is basically free, so I would like to share this with all PDF-level backers now and, should the need for revisions or corrections arise, upload a fixed file for you later. Actually, you'll find internal page references are off by two due to the addition of the cover to this PDF, so that's something I'll have to fix for the true final PDF. But this one's so close to complete that you might not even notice the tiny details that aren't quite right.

This book has involved months of hard work on my behalf, but it literally would not have existed without your support: The money you pledge to my video projects makes it possible for me to track down all of these games to document. Huge thanks also to Steve Lin for lending me complete-in-box products to fill in the gaps and everything Famicom-related you see in here. And to Max Smith for his diligent volunteer copy edit efforts. He has saved this book from death by a thousand (well, more like about 90) minor typos and flaws that, while nitpicky, would have diminished the reading experience.

Please enjoy the book. I really feel like this is the single best volume I have ever created. Ever! And if you spot anything amiss let me know. I'll probably submit a final file next weekend (I plan to do my proofing and revisions on the plane to Tokyo Game Show Sept. 10), so if you spot an error please make a note of it below line 93 on this collaborative Google Doc!

Thanks again! And here, of course, is the PDF link for you:
