October bonus #1: "From the Beginning" work in progress (Patreon)

Hi all, the first of this month's patron bonuses is live—the latest revision of the game box art photo book. If you compare this to the past few updates, I think you'll get a sense of my extravagantly inefficient book production process. I usually start with a strong central concept, but it goes through multiple massive book-wide revision. This PDF offers a snapshot of what I hope is a transition into the final form. You'll see a ton of minor improvements over previous layouts, such as the platform tabs on each page, but if you look closely you'll also notice that the Cassette Vision section is laid out differently (and better!) than the rest of the book. Next month, I hope to have the remainder of the book overhauled to that standard...

Speaking of books, I'm just about ready to ship out copies of the standard editions of Super NES Works and Virtual Boy Works. Those shipments got snagged on Real Life, but they just need to be addressed and shipped now! My next book will be NES Works 1987 and a single-volume reprint of NES Works 1985 & 1986, and my goal is to have those shipped within two weeks of my taking receipt of them...
