I'm running way behind on video production lately due to a few factors... the main one being that I seriously messed up my hand last week and it hurts to doing anything involving typing, a mouse, or a trackpad. I also can't play video games to record video footage without experiencing severe agony. Yeah! Awesome. So, in lieu of creating content while I'm healing, I've been scanning and prepping Game Boy manuals. So far I've made it about halfway through the Japanese manuals for 1989. And, as with the box scans, I've pulled the files so far into a single archive. There are many more files involved here than for the boxes, though, so this archive is huge (nearly 1GB)! Patreon attachments max out at 100MB, which means you'll have to grab them from Dropbox instead. Patreon's automated URL parser won't work for some reason, so please use this link instead: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/17589488/Game%20Boy%20World%20manual%20scans%20-%201989%20-%20JP%20-%20set%201.zip And with this, you are one step closer to having a comprehensive collection of Game Boy printed material. Sure, this is pretty esoteric stuff, but you gotta love the hand-drawn art in all these manuals.

Thanks for toiling over these Jeremy, excellent stuff.

Thank you! I'm wondering why you uploaded them as PSDs, though – exporting them to PNGs makes them about 1/4th the size for me, without any loss of quality.

I wanted people to be able to mess around with the originals if they like. The PSD format doesn't have any effect on the archive size... it's going to be about 800 MB no matter what, because it's dozens and dozens of large scans. PSDs compress down when put into a zip file, PNGs don't.
