Bonus: The missing book (Patreon)

Well, the "Patreon backers get long-term exclusive content" idea was a bust, but something good did come out of it: I was reminded that the PDF of Anatomy of Metroid Vol. I hadn't been included in the big upload from a couple of months ago. Technical reasons kept it offline, I'm afraid (read: the file was unfixably corrupt). So, I went ahead and prioritized that for conversion to an Amazon-friendly format that will go on sale shortly... but you, awesome Patreon backers, get the PDF edition right now. Actually, this is both Metroid volumes! I combined them into a single book as an experiment to test the feasibility and pricing of producing 8x10 format books in the Amazon-friendly format... turns out it's very feasible and very reasonably priced. I suspect all future books will be produced at the 8x10 size (versus the 10x8 I'd been using on Blurb) — if you've picked up any of Hardcore Gaming 101's books, it should be similar to those. I'm eager to see the finished product (the Metroid book is currently running through the format compatibility test), but so far it's looking positive. ALSO: To further increase the value of Game Boy World, I'm currently in the process of scanning all Game Boy manuals (US and Japanese) to add to the site and database. It's going to be a slow and tedious process, but important for archival completeness, I feel. I'm sure you can look forward to a massive bonus upload of those in the somewhat near future, in case that sort of thing appeals to you.
