Paperboy 2 retrospective: A game about nothing | Super NES Works #018

Tengen scored a hit with its home rendition of Atari Games' arcade classic Paperboy, so naturally they wasted no time following up on it. But was this sequel really necessary? Did Tengen improve on a masterpiece, or merely spin their wheels? Find out by watching this video... next time you drop by my apartment unannounced to raid my pantry for cereal.

Never played Paperboy 2, but enjoyed the first game on the Lynx. It's a simple concept, that worked surprisingly well as a video game. Honestly, despite this game's flaws, I would definitely play this one for its soundtrack alone!

HEY JEREMY I just backed your Kickstarter and did you film that video in the same session as your Seinfeld bit in this one? Not an important question - but some nice trivia. I haven't made it all the way thru your Kong podcast this morning so I'm not sure if you reference the filming again.
