Update (Patreon)

Figures I better post an update since I've been pretty silent.

More Japanese VHS tapes have made the 2 month trip from Japan to Australia. Unfortunately it looks like 4 of the 5 boxes I bought are VHS rental dubs. (Aka not TV recordings). Ouch! Not what I was hoping for. That doesn't mean it's a total washout. One box was full of TV stuff. And I can't wait to upload what I've got. I'm going through it all now.

Again thank you all so much for hanging on with me after YT absolutely demolished my workflow by banning me. 3 years in and I'm still not totally finished with adding back metadata. (Although that's mostly a mix of my autism, depression and anxiety rather than am overwhelming number of tasks).

As always, there's a lot happening behind the scenes. I have boxes of stuff I can't go through yet until I finish setting up the archive.org page and can add NEW commercial video uploads. That's why I've been focusing on full programs with ads. I have "80s Australian Commercials" and "90s Australian Commercial" volumes I have yet to add. I have a huge backlog of tapes to go through.
