Superbowl XXIII as it aired on Japanese TV on the 23rd of January 1989 (Timezones bump it up a day). The first 4 hours of this recording are the game, and the last hour has what followed, which include a news update, an episode of Kewpie 3 minute cooking, and a daytime variety show of some sort, which is incomplete as the recording ends..

TECHNICAL NOTES: This was recorded in Stereo and it's a Bilingual Broadcast, and thus the left channel has the Japanese commentary, and the right channel has the American NBC commentary. Use VLC's "Audio"->"Stereo Mode"->"Left" or "Right" to choose which one you want to hear. The NBC feed sounds like its fed through a Telephone, which would have been the easiest and cheapest way to send it. Another fun thing about the NBC feed is that the commercial breaks don't line up here, so occasionally you can hear them "off the air" discuss things. So it's an excellent look behind the scenes here.
