About the movies (and the OVAs as well), u guys have everything u need to know. As for the newest movie, Dragon Cry u just had to know the next things: Natsu is E.N.D, Acnologia`s human form and Brandish and Invel. That`s it.

Mashima always wanted a manga that takes place at school) OVA 4 was the training arc after the 7 year timeskip OVA 5 was around the fight between Natsu and Gajeel vs Sting and Rogue OVA 6 is a crossover between Fairy tail and Rave Master that might not be canon anymore. Depending if the "Heroes" manga, the 3 way crossover between Rave Master x Fairy Tail x Edens Zero (All series with animes that Hiro Mashima wrote) OVA 7 is adapting the punishment game for the GMG arc that Makarov promised Phoenix Priestess movie happens after GMG and before Tartaros OVA 8 is pre Tartaros Arc Dragon Cry movie happens after Natsu and the gang go to Alvarez to rescue Makarov and before the war (one month time period during August) OVA 9 can't really be placed well in the story pre war considering the war takes place in September. So i place it after the war ended, even though Natsu still has the bandage on his arm (Igneel's power)
