Toji just handed both of them the biggest character development possible. Gojo became a teacher, because he realized even beeing the strongest doesnt mean you can be everywhere saving every one. Geto going on his Eren arc, but like Eren he also doesnt want to sacrifice his own people the Jujutsu sorcerers. Most likely he could have bodied Yuta in the movie, but since his curses were divided to make sure non of his family would be killed he lost.
