What Olivander meant with "I believed another wand would work" is that because Harry and Voldemorts wands share a core, they cannot hurt each other's wielders in any real capacity, therefore Voldemort can't kill Harry with his own wand. As to why in the beginning, using Malfoy's wand didn't work, is because (this is my own theory, not confirmed I believe) since Voldemort now has Harry's blood inside him (After using it to reanimate himself), Harry's wand can recognize Voldemort, even if he's not using his own wand, so that's why Harry's wand protected him even when he couldn't react on his own.

This wasn't mentioned in the movies, but in the books, when Sirius died, Harry inherited everything that belonged to him, Including Grimauld Place and Kreacher.

I've skimmed through most of the beginnings of these movies with you guys and I REALLY wish the one guy (dont know your names) explained which movies he's seen exactly and how long ago it was or if he even remembers anything. Your reactions are as if you've never seen these movies but you literally said you did while saying "so I know quite a bit about them" so to ME it seems like your reactions are fake? could the guy im talking about please explain this?
