the thing with the motion sickness is that sting congratulates gajeel on becoming a "real" dragon slayer. basically, all dragon slayers have motion sicknesses. wendy does get sick she just uses a spell on herself to treat it.

Dragons slayers get motion sickness once they "mature" as dragon slayers. So once they reach a certain level of strength, they are also prone to motion sickness. As to the reason why, it's never really explained to detail in the anime (that I remember at least) but the fairy tail wiki states that it has something to do with how a normal human body's sensory system is not entirely compatible with how sharp a dragon's vision is. So I guess that when they ride on any sort of transportation, the movement causes the incompatibility to get worse and gets them dizzy- hence the motion sickness. And as dragon slayers get stronger or more in touch with their dragon senses, their dragon vision sharpness increases but their body is not able to keep up.

yes, i remember that they never fully explained it in the anime. it also makes sense why wendy is never seen to have motion sickness as she still has a lot to catch up on compared to natsu/gajeel/sting/rogue/laxus.

Actually thats not true lol wendy is a child and hasnt unlocked her real powers yet, she does get it later on though and cant use the troja spell on herself. Gajeel just reached the power to get his dragon force which is why he has it now.

Yeah they did explain it earlier on in the manga but it wasnt explained in the anime. Natsu is the only one we've seen with motion sickness but lets not forget that so far in the anime, he was the only one who was able to use his dragon force (like when he fought against jellal, gajeel, laxus,etc.). Gajeel was good but as he said on tenrou island, he wasnt as strong as the other dragon slayers and as for Wendy, she had never used her dragon powers before joining fairytail and only knew a few healing spells so she still has to grow a lot.

(Not really a spoiler) It's explained at some point that the motion sickness is linked directly to the dragon slayer's enhanced sensing, Vehicles overload their enhanced sensories and makes them sick. So pretty much the stronger the dragon slayer, the stronger their senses, the stronger their motion sickness. Wendy hasn't gotten motion sick because she isn't strong enough, but Gajeel has no real reason, he just now suddenly experiences it. So yeah, Neel pretty much guessed it spot on

Well i watched it in french dub and in jap but tbh i love it equally in both haha i do have to say that the french translation was a lot better than the english subtitles though, natsus speach makes me cry every time haha
