The Oracion Seis dark guild was made up of only 6 members if you remember correctly including Brain, and all of them were kids except for him so he was probably trying to find potential members for oracion seis it's crazy how ultear's magic power when she was young was so powerful that a grown up brain's body link magic didn't work basically ultear was too powerful to be a member of oracion seis wow

bro i cant ever get through this episode without crying, I lowkey find ultear's backstory sadder than erza's since ultear was never able to work through her grief and pain and it just turned into hatred towards her mother- I do like how they didn't do anything unrealistic to get Gray to win too, especially since Ultear's magic is super overpowered, the only way Gray won is because he knocked sense into her (and into the ocean loll) where she found her mother's memories.
