Janichroma's Internal Testing (Patreon)

Hey friends! It's been a BUSY WEEK for Mr. Janichroma.

What have I been up to? Well, I've begun testing the entire game again!
I'm going through and setting up the Quest log as well as cleaning bugs and inconsistencies along the way. 

For the main quest log, I was thinking of just putting objective text for the player to use as a simple guide. However, I realized that this was actually pretty boring. I don't expect many players to use the Quest log. Like, less than 50%. So I thought it'd be fun if I just went ahead and made it interesting by writing the Quest log from the player's perspective.

I've been going through an average of 1 chapter per day, but I went through 2 today since chapter 4 is so short. 

Oh, I guess I can talk about this too.

I mentioned that people who dislike the trials in this chapter can skip if on subsequent playthroughs. That much is true still! There are skips for both Dusknoir and Tangrowth. Anti-action event players rejoice for I have heard your cries.

Tbh, this is the first time I've played through Rejuv fully in like 5+ years.
So far,  my own ranking in terms of quality, and fun.

it's Chapter 3 > 4 > 2 > 1.

I played through Chapter 3 this morning and I literally impressed myself. I forgot I went so hard on this area. It was very nice. I enjoyed it a lot. I enjoyed it so much that I gave Indriad a new sprite for his attire in this area. He was always supposed to look messed up and unkempt, but... Uh his old sprite was kind of not creative. So i really delved deep into the glow down. 

The annoying bugs/oversights I found here hurt my soul though. Well, at least Chapter 4 is a banger chapter too. Next up is Chapter 5 and then onto the Terajuma arc, which I think is a real good arc now.

I'll talk more about my feelings on future chapters too once I go through it. So expect another post sometime next week~.

- Fixed up bugs
- Fixed typos
- Set up Quest log Data
- Added 1 new early encounter with 2 characters from late game rejuv
- Made Amanda appear more frequently
