In the depths of the Isle of Angels, a dimension created by Angie resides. This time, forever.

That comment aside, I took a look at the Tower of Theolia as part of Terajuma's grand update!
My previous attempt at the tower was... Well, not the best. I think that was during v10? I can't remember. Either way, that's not important.
My mapping and design skills have improved significantly during 2020 and as such I decided to give the Ice Queen's palace another go. I'm quite happy with the results!

Story Differences:

So, let's talk about the differences this time around. The biggest one is that this area is no longer temporary. Once its open, it's open for good.

Secondly, along with Melia, Venam, and Kreiss another character will be joining you during this part of the story.

Thirdly! You will be able to leave this place the moment you're put here. So this isn't a locked area like it was previously (It was locked up until you reached the top.)

Fourth...ly... choosing to save Kreiss or not will have long term (Non negative) changes. A different story branch will open up later. Like said before, these are just alternate story paths. There is no wrong answer here.

Development Thought Process:

Coming up with a design for this place was actually quite tricky. Angie's tower didn't have a distinct design. Its interior was a conglomerate of different types of areas based on the people she imprisoned inside. This is still true here. My biggest concern had to do with the exterior.

(Kreiss' Room inside of the tower.)

Angie's Tower is based off the Tower of Babel.

If you are unfamiliar with this tower, it is basically a tower a united civilization constructed. However, God saw this as a blasphemous way to avoid a second flood if that were to happen-- so he "blessed" the people with different languages and scattered them around the world so that they could no longer understand each other. (Rude), Eventually the structure crumbled as he sent his beings of the heavens to destroy it.

But the story behind the tower is only loosely applied to Angie's and takes its likeness more than the tellings.

The Tower of Theolia:

This still has some work needed. Mainly things to occupy the ground of the tower itself, but overall I'm pretty dang happy about how this came out. There's also a new secret this tower hides. One that you may come across very soon...

That's all for this week! Thank you guys for supporting me and I hope you have a wonderful day~.
