“I still have about 15 minutes, then I HAVE to leave.” Elissa said to herself. Her legs were moving at just past their normal pace as she made her way around the apartment. It was your typical Wednesday morning for her. Get up, wolf down some breakfast, get ready for work, maybe 5 minutes on her phone, then out the door. She was the kind of person who could never be late to something. It was either on time or not at all. Of the 7 years she’d been with Stratton Oakmont (She started right out of college), she’d only been late once. How was she supposed to know there was renaissance fair in town that day?

“*Phew* Okay, so let’s get this in this folder.” Elissa said, “I need to make sure I grab his report on last week’s claim.” Her mind continued as she walked into the living room. The documents were on the table. She snatched them up and caught a glimpse of the TV before walking into the next room.

“Hm.” She said, looking at the childish cartoon bouncing around screen. It was a beautiful display of vibrant colors. “I thought those shows came on at like 1 PM when everyone is at work.” Elissa thought. She let out a small laugh to herself before heading into the kitchen to make her lunch.

She grabbed the plastic deli bag from the fridge. Elissa unzipped the bag and yanked out some sliced Turkey breasts. She made a mental note in her head that she had to go to the grocery store after work to get more food for lunch. She made quick work of her sandwich and threw it in her lunchbox. She grabbed the handle and started heading toward the door.

She grabbed her keys off the side table in the hallway and continued walking. Her legs brought her right up to the door before stopping for a moment. Her head turned to the right as she placed her free hand on the door handle. The childish cartoon from before was still on. It whirled around a rising sun. Cute sounds buzzed off the speakers. It struck Elissa over how quality the animations were. It seemed like way higher budget CGI for a daytime kid’s TV show than you’d expect.

Her mind lingered on the show for a moment. She nodded at the TV before turning her head back to the door. “Wish I could be watching that show all day without a care in the world!” She opened the door with a giggle a split second after that thought ran through her head. The light from outside was so bright. Brighter than Elissa was expecting. So bright, that it started taking over her vision. The white light quickly took over her entire world.

“Hello Boys and Girls, are you watching Sesame Street right now?”

“Heheh, Yeth! Yeth! Me watchin’ wright now!” Elissa yelled out through her pacifier. She proudly held up her Sesame Street shirt up toward the screen as she played along to the classic cartoon. “Woah…” She thought in her mind. She let her fingers loosen their grip on the T-shirt. It fell back into place, barely covering her pink diaper. “Oh my goodness what, what is going on?” She said, blinking a few times and shaking her head.

“Wait am I… How did I get in this diaper?” Elissa thought, looking down at herself. She soaked in the sight of the thick adult diaper taped around her waist. The whole scene was so groggy to her. It was like her head was just the right amount buzzed. She could still think and form adult thoughts of course. But her train of thought was hard to keep a hold on. She found herself bouncing from subject to subject in her mind. Her eyes caught glimpse of the TV again.

“Aheh” She giggled slightly, a smile grew on her lips. The screen looked so pretty and she was suddenly very engrossed in the plot of the episode. The pressing thoughts she just had in her head seemed to melt away. Elissa moved and sang along to every part. It was probably the most fun she’d had in a long time. Just sitting there on her bed. Not having to pay attention to anything but the show. It was the ultimate state of relaxation.

The end of the show was a fun one. She got to bounce on her butt and sing along to her favorite song! When the credits started to roll, she settled down and noticed something different. Something just kind of off. A distant, quizzical look was painted on her face.

“Aw I know that look, is someone having an accident?” Elissa heard her mother say from the door. She swung her head to the side to get a look at her.

“Mommy?” Elissa said instinctively. Her mother said nothing in response. She walked up to Elissa and instantly felt around the crotch of her diaper. Elissa did her own check by flexing her thighs for a second. Sure enough, she was right in the middle of flooding her diaper.

“Oh yeah, you definitely wet this diaper! Oh, I knew you would. When I heard you bouncing on your bed from downstairs, I knew you’d work yourself up and have an accident!” Her mother said with a laugh. She guided Elissa down on the bed. She started untapping her daughter’s diaper.

“This is… damn this is so weird.” Elissa thought to herself as her mother started changing her diaper. “The last thing I remember was wishing to be back in diapers… something like that?” she thought, looking up at the TV. “Did that show do something to me? Did it put me back in a… diaper? Am I just a little kid again?” She pondered. Her body moved rhythmically to her mother’s movements. Up and down her butt went before getting strapped into a brand-new diaper.

“You can watch TV for a few more hours then you have to get ready for your nap, okay?” Her mother said. Elissa just nodded her head yes in response. Her mother walked back to the doorway and hit the light switch. “Oh you’re just too cute in that diaper! It’s a shame we’ll be starting potty training in a few months.” Her mother said before walking out into the hallway.

“Starting?!” Elissa thought, cocking her head to the side. “Am I really not potty trained anymore?” She wondered, looking back down at her diaper. She reflected on the accident she’d just had. There was zero response. There was no signal to even begin with. She had no clue she was wet until her mother told her. The feeling of being wet, dry, or even going, it all kinda seemed the same in the head when she thought about it. She sat there in silence for a few moments and chewed on that idea. Ultimately, she shook her head.

“No, that’s not right. There’s a big difference between wet and dry diapers. And going on purpose and not.” She reasoned, satisfied with her line of reasoning. With that problem out of the way now, she took a deep breath and started flipping through the cartoon channels. She knew she had to figure a way out of this problem, but why not enjoy it for a little bit? This was the most fun and giddy feeling she’d had in her head for a while. Why not ride it out for a little bit?

She let out a small sigh as she nestled into her pillows. She decided on Dora this time. She let her eyes and mind wander while she sucked on her orange pacifier. The room became darker over time. Mostly due to her eyelids getting lower. With zero resistance, she drifted off into the most wonderful, baby dream filled sleep of her life.
