I used .2lh and not adaptive, it came out great on my end personally. I also made a hat for mine 😄

is there a way to save the file to my phone? i just have a toybox printer and wanted to print this for my kiddos!

Anonymous

i figured out how to download it but i can’t resize it to small enough for my printer :( can anyone make them under 20mb for me? 🙏

zou3d

I wanted to know more about your printer model, I saw that you were able to print

Anonymous

No we need many more baby dragons

Is it possible to make the eyes separate like the love dragon? Could you make eyes separate for models going forward please?

zou3d

I tried to separate the eyes of this model and it was very ugly, because initially it was not made to have the eyes separated, it loses cuteness, but all the next models will have the eyes separated

All 4 going printing now. Love the pre painted models.

My X1 Carbon Combo is arriving tomorrow so this is right on time! Excited

How did you see the pre-painted? I'm not seeing it on either Cura or PrusaSlicer. Do I need the Bambu slicer? Gotta love the proprietary features... NOT. FlashBacks of Sony BetaMax...

Ross Turner

it works well in prusa slicer in the mmu2 for the purpose of painting it. thank you

Anonymous

Not a great model for Bambu or any other multi color printers because the little blue dots start fairly quickly and the printer has to change filament for a tiny speck of blue. Very wasteful. Like the model though. Much easier and faster to print all in white and paint the small areas.

Anonymous

The pre painted models were in there own folder. I think you have to have the Bambu slicer to use them but not 100% sure on that.

Spideyraccoon

Love the model! Thanks for the painted version! Prints wonderfully, my daughter loves it!

Incredible work! This was a really fun print on the X1; I'll take some photos and also have full-volume version printing on the X1 soon. Excited to share! Super beautiful job and thank you for including a painted Bambu Lab version 👏

Im gonna have to pair these with the dragon axolotl!

gpapazac

Did you use adaptive layer height? I didn't and i can clearly see the layers (0.2 lh) in the legs and on the top. Wonder if it makes big difference in this model

zou3d

I agree! I've seen several models where the printer spends a lot of filament just for some details, this is one of them, I personally prefer to paint
