The return of horror, eh? Then let’s get some fat clowns in here

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Another for my monster girls, here we have....

An Abyssal Harlequin, or an Abyssal Siren. A kind of Siren and Deep one connected to the deep depths of the ocean.

Abyssal Harlequins are strange and mysterious entities. They dwell deep within the depths of the oceans, or sometimes within dark coastal caverns. They are aquatic creatures which take the appearance of a greatly bloated clownish woman with a cloak and a jester's hat. This appearance is a facade however, and their appearance is crafted specifically as a form of camouflage. The bell like appendages on their head are a series of tentacular eyes, which still release a jingling sound. Their back fins take a shape similar to a cloak, and their mucus membranes which release chemicals and torrents of mucus are shaped similarly to human breasts. They have fat striped lower fins, a bevvy of tentacles for locomotion, and a large thick tail to aid in it's movement through the water. Though the eyes, nose, and mouth all seem to work on it's clown like face, the appearance of another mouth on the external surrounding it makes some believe it may be related to the Sphinx in a way, or that it may grow a secondary head controlled still by a singular brain for the purpose of speaking, or that it may be a remainder of their human face (See below).

They speak in the language of the deep, speaking in tongues that most can never understand, though their beautiful singing can enrapture creatures for miles, releasing psionic wavelengths with their voices to draw creatures to them. Even though most creatures cannot understand their language, they can usually pantomime their emotions across to creatures they attempt to communicate with. Their motions are always silly and elaborate, and they exaggerate everything they do. Children, homeless, and lonely wandering vagrants and sailors in coastal settlements may come across an abyssal Harlequin at night near the water's edge where they like to lure in prey.

Due to their appearance, unlike with many other kinds of Siren, seduction is not their usual method of attraction, however they are still often able to manage it with their soft bodies, friendly nature, and silly actions. Their bodies are covered in a slick mucus that is full of pheromones and enzymes that cause creatures to release dopamine. Prolonged exposure to this mucus has the same effects as nitrous oxide and can cause fits of giggling and laughter. The mucus also causes a warm and tingling sensation that causes for an overall pleasant experience. Most Abyssal Sirens don't consume creatures upon first meeting them, but will slowly inure them to their presence so they will go silently with them into the depths. Creatures the siren has grown fond of however can be implanted with an egg. The mucus within them will react to it and the egg will be digested by the human and the contents inside will react with their bodily functions and slowly transform them into an aquatic creature such as a Deep one. This is done on rare occasions in which an Abyssal Harlequin is seeking a mate, or if for some reason it wished to bring a human with it into the depths in friendship or in a pseudo adoption.

Some believe that their appearance is as such due to the pressure of the bottom of the abyss, and that their forms greatly expand when not under so much pressure and that they look far less bloated usually, however their ravenous diets also seem to play a part in their ballooned figures. Because of this they can be extremely strong and nimble outside of the water, able to leap and drift through the air with great ease and prance around similarly to a ballerina. In combat they bite, twist, and maim their foes with their teeth, heavy bodies, tentacles, and tail, but can also release a deadly electric current through their tentacle tips which can paralyze a creature at a touch. They also have retractable spines in the tips of each tentacle which can easily pierce flesh and release more of their mucus. This is in tandem with the psychic abilities their voice can produce and the hormonal manipulation they can command.
