And if you thought the last one got messy, just you wait!

As I've mentioned before: this is the last mission I'm going to do in the campaign. There is a bonus mission after this, but it's not tremendously relevant to the Scottish Corridor and Operation Epsom so I'm planning to round the campaign out by going back to the second mission (Road to Cheux) and replaying it with the Americans.

The default British force in that mission is a rifle coy minus 1 platoon, with two Churchills and some off-map mortars as back up. That comes to about 1000 points in the quick battle force selector.

Swapping in an American equivalent: a rifle coy minus 1 platoon, plus two Shermans and some off-map mortars... also works out to about 1000 points.

So it should relatively even. I've yet to decide whether to translate my losses from the first mission over and exactly how I would manage that. There are a couple of AI plans, so although I have some idea of what force I'm up against it's not necessarily going to be in the same place.

It should be interesting and cast a sidelight on the Brit's performance.

In other news, I've now got 2 Tournament videos left to do for Slitherine- they're probably going to take a chunk out of the schedule, so I'm aiming to drop the scale of the other content back to accomodate.

So next up is another Basics video: I keep telling people I'm going to show them how I do the firing range tests, so I should probably actually do that (should be relatively quick and easy, he said, foolishly). Scottish Corridor bonus after that (again, relatively small scenario) and then we're in line for another War Room episode (maybe some Wars of the Roses, maybe something nuclear, hopefully something short but I don't trust myself here).

That's on top of other stuff to boot, so plenty in the pipe!

That was fantastic. Glad to see the returning sponsor for this video, "Final Protective Fires." A great product that is very reliable, though this one was a greater difficulty than many.

Ooh, Final Protective Fires as a returning sponsor is fantastic, absolutely going to find some way to slip that in somewhere.

Great campaign run-through! That last night battle was brutal. Reminds me of the Patton movie at the beginning with the night meeting engagement.
