Poll 37 Results, Poll 38 and This Week (Patreon)

Modern Arty/CAS won out, so we're going to blow something up! Having done cluster 152s against the Cold War target, it could be interesting to give the unitary HE 152s a try. Or the rockets. Everyone loves rockets.

In other news, I've managed to finish off the last little bit of work I have to do for Slitherine, bar tweaks, and I've gotten stuck into Semper Fi Syria Mission 6. So far, it feels like the scenario is giving me less indirect fires to work with and encouraging more direct fire engagements... which I'm less than happy about given the terrain.

I expect that'll last right about until my infantry arrives and I can start Javelining things, but it's presenting a slightly different problem set.

After that we're back to a Basics video of some description.

At some point however- and this gets some bold because it's important- the Patreon is going to change up a bit.

In short, Apple is changing the way they handle payments and that's leading Patreon to drop per-video billing. So the channel will switch from a per-video billing model to a monthly subscription model.

I've looked into this before and been turned off because changing it looked like a pain, now it's going to be mandatory some point in the next year. I'll nail some details down and go into in more depth later, but the main reason I was sticking with per video was to make sure there was a 1:1 content:payment ratio in case I couldn't generate the content. That's not proved to be a massive problem, so transitioning over shouldn't represent too much of a change.

Anyway, coming round to this week's poll, we're back with WW2 and a choice between another Arty/CAS demo or showing off some Infantry Firepower.
