^This. There are also some new cast members that show up eventually that massively improve the show (like Frank in IASIP or Toph in ATLA).

I'm glad you watched this. If you're going to do a trial run of this vs. Community, I would suggest doing a comparable number of episodes -- the 6-episode first season of Parks & Rec is almost like a trial run for the "real" show, which materializes bit by bit in its longer second season. I think you'll enjoy watching that happen. Thanks for all your great reactions!

Parks and Rec is a great show, but really it finds its voice in Season 2.

if you want another great ensemble cast and actual comedy with nice stories like the Good Place - this is a great series. Give it at least until 2nd season though bc it really picks up.
