Man, even if it's not coming back, you still have a lot of lore to pick up on. So definitely watch it it again, and you'll pick up SOOOO much that you missed the first time around. Maybe do a watch along with your favorite Patreon VB peeps as guest hosts on certain episodes ? Like, watch an episode and do a one-on-one discussion where you talk about the episode and how it fits into the overall story...and nobody would have to worry about spoilers.I don't know; just a thought. I know myself and some others on here are walking VB encyclopedias, and could answer any questions you may have the second time through and offer insights that perhaps you hadn't considered. Anyway, yeah...this episode is a heart breaker. There were a lot of people really shitting on Dean after this episode, and I get it. But Dean is a good kid...he just royally screwed up. Sirena however...I'm not so sure about. I've thought she was a bad match for Hank from the start. Not necessarily that she's a bad person, she's just too worldly and rough around the edges for Hank's innocence and naiveté. But yeah, Dean REALLY fucked up bad. Anyway, here's hoping HBO Max picks up the show.

Unfortunately it has been stated that the movie will serve as the series finale. As I've said before I feel that based on the fellas comments that they are ready to move on to other things. Just my opinion though. That being said, is it possible we could eventually get some sort of spin-off? Sure! And I will look forward to that if it's ever in the cards. Edit: That message Paul got forwarded is old news. There's no word anymore about it and I think they're just gong to move on after the movie, sadly.

I'm pretty sure Grover Cleveland's Presidential Time Machine made it's first appearance in s1e9 "Are You There God? It's Me, Dean." And in "Escape to the House of the Mummies Part 2" they had to have some kind of time machine.

Will Fly

Yes, Grover Cleveland's Presidential Time Machine is a callback to the testicular torsion episode...and perhaps the Mummies episode (though I don't remember it specifically being in that episode.

Henchman Twenty 1, I was pretty suspicious about HBO Max. I remember them having some interest for a minute right after the cancelation...so I think what Paul saw was old news that is no longer on the table as a possibility.

Last Saturday outside my window looked exactly like out the windows of VenTech Tower. We got slammed with a blizzard, total whiteout conditions. I didn't see anything about a big weather control disk on the news though.

Henchman Twenty 1, I've heard the theory about residual nanobots somehow causing Dean to sleep with Sirena, but it just doesn't make sense to me. I think it's just an unfortunate moment of bad judgment between Dean and Sirena, when realizing they actually have more in common with each other than Hank does with Sirena. We quickly saw that Dean and Sirena carried on together than Hank and Sirena...and it just lead to a bad situation. I really don't get the whole nanobots theory...it just seems like people trying to do house cleaning.

Henchman Twenty1

Yeah, I'm probably wrong there. It was just something that had occurred to me after watching the Galaxy Gals react to that TNG episode where Wesley's nanobots took over the ship. Well at least both of the boys have gotten laid now, just with different women as Hank seems to have the same problem as his dad when he and Sirena tried to get intimate.

The Monarch and 21's means of communication were cellphones in Ziploc bags. In 7x5 Doc told the Guild and OSI folks that scientists gave us cellphones and Ziplocs. Maybe that's where Dr. Z and Mrs. M got that idea from?

i imagined that the time travel story would be series 8, tying all the way back to Return to the House of Mummies Part 2 from way back in the early days.

Henchman Twenty1

Yes. The reintroduction of the time machine has thrown a wrench into many fan theories about the show as it can change so many things. One such being the identity of Scare Bear. A number of suspects had been considered eliminated do to them being scene with him or in another location when we saw the bear. Now with the time travel element it could have been one of them come back in time. My new theory is that it future Hank, all grown up and wielding Brock's knife.

Several years ago I was helping my aunt with something in her attic and I noticed she had a set of lawn darts it's not a wonder they banned those things it's insane some of the things they sold for entertainment.
