This episode is one of a handful of episodes that in my opinion confirm Dennis is not a full blown sociopath. I'm not a professional, and if I was, he isn't my patient (nor real), but. My *guess* would be he is on a sociopath spectrum, as in, he has some degree of traits or consistency with a sociopath. We know he is ultra insecure. And I think his mom damaged him a lot by treating him like a god, and polluting his head with that nonsense. Now he's a grown man with an artificial ego where he see's himself as a god, but inside he's a tiny, damaged, insecure person. I also think he probably has borderline personality disorder. Anyway, in this episode and several others (when his stuffed bear Mr. Tibbs gets his head ripped off by Dee, for example) demonstrate moments where something bad happens to Dennis, or something harms a thing from his past that he holds dear, and we see (yet another) part of his soul die, sending him deeper into the cold, broken, angry, man we see today. All that said... Do I think he has it in him to kill someone? Yes, I think he's capable of cold blooded murder. I don't think he is truly 100% incapable of feelings, or remorse, but I think he could do it. I think he has thought about or imagined it a lot.
