This is where I checked out on this show. I saw a preview of season 8 and decided to not continue. And, yes, I suspected what was really going on. The show started getting too Frisky Dingo for me and I was never a fan of that.

I can see the "detective noir" being a turn off to some, and the fact the coma seasons in of themselves as well. I would say that the first time I watched the coma seasons, I too didn't feel too strongly about them. But as I kept rewatching them, it actually got better the more I rewatched them. Personally I do think that Archer (the show) has just gone down hill ever since Adam left and left it to a team of writers. They have gotten better in season 12 but man it's not exactly the same.

S07 was a lower point for the show and I think lost a lot of viewers. But, Dreamland was fucking hilarious.
