Two... On the same day. Bless you sir and your laugh.

Two great reactions! Thank you, sir. Did you change your source for episodes, for these two? I noticed that the end credits were shown over the final scene (not separately afterward), and there were no extra scenes along the way such as you (alone among all reactors) have shown in the past. It's fine either way, but I did notice the difference. There's no right or wrong about the trolley problem -- it's designed as a "thought experiment" for philosophers to puzzle over and debate over, and never come to a definitive conclusion.

Top 5 episode for me. Love the trolley problem. I’d say I’d switch the tracks, but I imagine in a real situation I’d probably be crippled into inaction with anxiety lol. *austrailian accent* “NICE TROLLEY!!”

I think you changed the source of the videos? If that's the case, that would be a shame. The main reason i subbed was that you were using a source that had extra scenes, that was unavailable for the people in Netflix. Please please please go back to the other one!

The issue with choosing to kill the one person in the trolley problem is that you're actively deciding to, and acting to kill the person. The default state is the trolley killing five. If there wasn't anyone on the trolley to change the track, it would kill the 5. If you do nothing and let the trolley kill the five people, you're just part of a horrible accident. But if you change the track you kill a person. This is a bit easier to see in the doctor version. The doctor has to actively kill the person to harvest their organs (which goes against the Hippocratic oath) and save the others. You're not wrong, there isn't a right or wrong answer to this. What you answer depends on your personal beliefs and different ethical stances have different answers.

It's not about right or wrong, Paul...it's philosophy. There are no clear cut right and wrong answers. But whether you're a train conductor or a surgeon, it's still choosing to kill one person to save 5. BTW, did anyone scroll down on the other page to that comments section. WTF?

My opposite torture would be unlimited Stewart's orange creme soda.

The central conceit of the OG trolley problem, as I understood it, is to ask whether it’s really better to make a conscious decision to take an action that will result in the death of one person, than it is to let 5 people die through inaction? But the point of philosophical problems like this is really just to argue about what you think is right and why until everyone has a clear position.

Random-ish but where'd all of your Harley Quinn full reactions go? Those were the crux of me signing up for your patreon to begin with 😔. Don't get me wrong; I'm not coming at this from a demanding "Gimme all the Harley Quinn reactions or I take my dollar elsewhere!" angle. Just curious and I may fancy wanting to see those again at some point 🤔 I still very much enjoy your ongoing journeys through the other shows you're going through and I'll pitching in my little bit to help fund this operation as long as you're willing to keep this up.😉👍

I personally got a kick out of how they tackled the trolley problem on Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt. Speaking of which and I may or may not be able to speak for everyone but I think you reacting to Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt (assuming you've not seen that show yet) would make for quality content. Not trying to dictate or demand anything; just throwing that suggestion out there and you can do with that what you will. Either way you'd still putting out heaps and loads of quality content that's well worth the price of admission. Keep up the great work 🙂

Coincidentally, I am currently taking an Intro to Philosophy course and just got done writing a paper about the Trolley Problem. It hasn't been graded yet, so my answer may or may not be worth anything.
