The next episode is a Cheryl/Carol episode if I’m remembering right and it’s just as funny.

Zima is a fruity, sweet malt liquor that used to be sold here in the states. I had a buddy who drank it. We called him "Zima, Warrior Princess". lol

That whole "Delaney, did you see Regis this morning?" is a reference to a "very special" Magnum PI episode about Magnum confronting someone from his past as, I think, a POW in Vietnam. Just as the guy thinks he is going to get away Magnum asks him "Did you see the sun rise this morning?" and he says of course, then it is almost an exact shot for shot of Archer turning around in this episode, and Magnum shoots him -- end of episode. Which is why Cyril suggesting Magnum PU as a title for the movie is extra funny.

While the next four episodes aren't as funny or emotional as the last two, they're still just gut-punch hilarious. Seriously, I don't dislike any of the rest of the season. TBH, I don't dislike *any* Archer episode, including the later seasons most people seem to not enjoy. What can I say? I guess Archer will always have me in the Danger Zone.

Have to admit one thing I'm looking forward to with the new season of Archer is now that FX/FXX is owned by Disney and Disney owns most of/if not all of Hulu is that this season the new episodes of Archer will be on there the next day, rather than waiting for the season to end and a little more time. They do the same thing with What We Do In The Shadows, which is a great show (as was the movie, but the series has Matt Berry who is always great.) Now if they'll do that with It's Always Sunny I'll be set with FX/FXX shows.

... It's a great show created by Monty Oum (R.I.P.) and distributed by Rooster Teeth.

I've heard good things about "What We Do in the Shadows", but I've never seen an episode. Isn't that a Taika Watiti deal? I did see "Jojo Rabbit" and it was great. As for "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia," that show is on par with "The Venture Bros" as far as I'm concerned. It's one of my favorite shows ever. Hell, I hate Disney, but I might have to sign up for Hulu again.

Taika Waititi did the movie version of "What We Do In The Shadows" and even starred in it, I know he's listed as an executive producer as is the other writer of the movie, but I'm not sure how closely he's involved, though the humor is similar so he may be more involved than some executive producers are, with that title you never know, some are closely involved some are not. The show does follow the same mockumentry format though with a different cast. The cast works well together and this time it's vampires living in NY. I had watched Jojo Rabbit not too long ago, I thought it was quite good too, in fact i checked out another movie of his earlier this month called The Hunt for the Wilderpeople, I thought that was enjoyable as well. In fact I've liked all the movies I've seen his, he did actually make the only Thor movie I actually really liked, I've still never made it through Dark World it's like ambien in film form for me. With It's Always Sunny the main thing that seperates it from The Venture Bros for me is I can still easily go back and watch first season episodes of VB, going back to watch first season episodes of Sunny is just something I don't do, while they aren't bad by any means I just think the show isn't the same if Danny Devito isn't in it. If you've never seen it they have a clip on Youtube that I think was off one of the DVDs called Danny Devito's contract, it's hilarious. Basic premise is Charlie Day didn't read his contract and finds out he has to do something to keep Danny Devito on the show. It also has a cameo by Fred Savage who has directed several episodes of Sunny.

I don't get why people don't like the later seasons. They're so creative!

They're different compared to the original four seasons. Change is very off-putting to most people. A combo of writing and current issues (ISIS was no longer a cool thing to be) Season 5 ended up very random. But I still really liked it.

Huh, I just rewatched this reaction, and it's different than how I remember it!

I wouldn't feel bad for laughing at this eposide. I had a partner die of cancer years ago and I wish I had this episode while he was getting treatment because he would've laughed his ass off.
