What I like about David directing this episode and having the whole thing with Spike having this cheap knock off version of some of the events in the first 2 episodes, and the utterly ridiculous turn that the whole world is burning down and moments later Spike's saved the day and turned the world into a paradise, and everyone in his dreams telling him how useless he is, it's like David took the opportunity to basically roast his own show. I haven't seen this episode in a good 15 years, and I barely remembered it, but after the fairy turns Spike into a "real boy" and everyone is fanboying over him, when the view switched to Angel, I didn't even see the cart behind him, I just saw the short sleeve dress shirt and tie and thought "he looks like he works in the mail room now", then he turns around and I was like "he DOES work in the mail room". Whacky episode, but lots of fun.
