I really like Morena Baccarin as Adria!

The next episode of SGA is going to be pure fire

Lady Beyond The Wall

Oh! I was expecting SGA but this is okay too! I'm glad that ancient weapon is gone - just in general. That thing was just.. bad waiting to happen. Sad to see the Jaffa just breaking apart and what can happen when a rebellion is actually won. There's a power vacuum and sometimes it doesn't work out well. And it's upsetting to see some of the jaffa thinking the people of Earth just didn't matter, and that they would have done it themselves, but like, you weren't doing too much before SG1 came around, so... I mean, some appreciation by not killing humans would be nice. And Daniel opening up to Vala was nice. It was sweet of him to try and comfort her, even when she thinks she doesn't need it. Excited for SGA this week! 💕

I remember getting into Stargate SG-1 as it aired but late (via getting into Stargate Atlantis). I didn't watch the first seasons until much later. That scene on the Ori ship where Daniel explains Sha're to Vala hits different now.

Double SGA coming up, then looks like eps 10/11 for both series are double bubbles w a split week in between. 😉

I'm thinking about the end of season ten and the movies to come. Someone remind me, which comes first? My favourite is AoT, but I think FW will like Continuum more. What do you guys think? 🙂

Geonn Cannon

"So how do you want to follow up our fun, wacky, puppet-filled 200th episode?" "Genocide in the cold open!" "...wait what?"

Losing Langara was the biggest L of the season.

Timothy Nikiforovs

Really sucks that Langara and Hebridan fell to the Ori. 2 of the more developed worlds in the galaxy. Hopefully Jonas kept his head down, but the guy is such an idealist it makes you worry. Maybe he learned to be smart and wait for the right opportunity to act during his time with SG1, and he's just biding his time. And for some reason Deadpool's girlfriend is leading the ori armies? Always good to see Morena Baccarin. Adria is all grown up and basically seems to be an Uber Prior of sorts. Reanimating that dead Jaffa only to interrogate him and kill him again has to be the creepiest ability in her power set. Also there's the disturbing fact that the Ori seem to have taken a particular interest in Daniel. I'm torn in regards to the Jaffa in this episode. I mean aside from Teal'c and Bra'tac, they were mightily pissing me off, if only for the ingratitude for the Tau'ri's role in their freedom. Sure it's easy to claim they could have defeated the goa'uld on their own, but cmon, they had thousands of years. I suppose they think it's just coincidence that system lords started dropping like flies as soon as Earth got involved? Still, I can see their reasoning for using the weapon. Each of those ships could be responsible for potentially millions of deaths, and maybe billions subjugated into serving the ori. Who knows how many thousands died in that first battle at the supergate? Frankly from a strategic standpoint, as tragic as the loss of the villagers may be, there were probably as many soldiers killed on the ship, and moreover if Adria hadn't been there, and if the Jaffa had worked with Carter, there's a good chance they could have figured out how to operate the ship to some degree, perhaps rig up a more conventional control interface eventually. Se'tak was right that if they got enough of those ships under their control it could tip the balance in their favor. If they can catch those ships of such sparsely populated worlds, then ultimately far more lives could be saved than a few thousand villagers. But the hostility and mistrust toward allies wasn't cool at all. I get that they're desperate but friends gotta stick together. At least the jaffa on the ship bothered to restrict his men to non lethal force against SG1. Ultimately though, I'm still glad the Dakara weapon was destroyed. It should always have been disabled and had vital components sent to both the Tok'ra and Earth to ensure no 1 party could use it on their own. The thing is just too dangerous to keep around like that. We're definitely putting more checkmarks in the L column than the W column. The Pegasus Project was a big win, but aside from stopping the Ori plague, we've mostly been getting out asses kicked. Merlin's weapon remains the only real glimmer of hope, and the team needs to move their asses to find it ASAP.

Didn't recognize Adria?? I'm surprised! I don't think you've done Firefly, but surely you've watched Deadpool!

I'm catching up on reactions, been out of town for a week. Welcome to the lovely Morena Baccarin playing Adria, of FireFly fame and Deadpool. I've been waiting till she appears, you really need to watch FireFly. So for me, this had a big impact when I saw her appear on this show. I'm glad they got rid of that Ancient device on Dakara, it was a huge Deus Ex Machina device/McGuffin type of thing. And I'm so disappointed in the Jaffa

Paul Carroll
