Not reading any of the comments here so I don't spoil myself, but I'm glad you're doing the new season for this. I STILL have to watch Season 3 😂 so I'll watch those reactions first and then catch back up here. I need to soon because EVERYONE is reacting to it and I keep seeing thumbnails on my YT sub page. I don't think I've been really spoiled (maybe though, I'm not sure because I haven't seen S3 yet) but yeah.. I need to finish it. It's like the Expanse. I still haven't finished S5 or 6 because I don't want it to end but I constantly have to avert my eyes on my subscribed page on YT 😑

You guys obviously dont undestand how capitalism work. You give money, recieve value. Lot of people here just give money and recieve little value from time to time (especially Office fans) If someone like Brent points that out, you guys get all defensive because guess what - Patreon fans tend to be ass lickers due to “notice me senpai” syndrome. So there is absolutely a reason for passive agression, especially when Fail claims from time to time how everything will get better. But nope, he obviously still didnt get help, still dont deliver and still want this kind of money for membership. Not mentioning that unedited reactions with PiP are super illegal, especially when we pay for it. So please, stop asslicking and be understandable of people who gives a fuck about value they get for their money.

Apparently, this sentiment is not the norm, so I can only speak for myself, but I have no loyalty toward FailWhale. I pay for a service, if I don't receive that service, I will stop paying. I haven't reached that point yet, but I'm close. To everyone on Patreon, don't fool yourself, you are also paying for your satisfaction, you are paying to receive some sort of enjoyment watching reactions, NOT because you feel FailWhale needs the money or that you want to pay his salary. So don't lie to yourself about why you are here also, you owe FailWhale nothing. Food for thought.

It really is as simple as if you don’t like it, stop paying for it. I don’t know why you’re making it out to be anything deeper or anything more than that. Right now, we’re getting a load of great content, at a consistent rate which we’re all enjoying and which yes, is why we’re here. If you’re waiting for something specific, you can always unsubscribe and then come back later. Or just unsubscribe completely. Either option is very easy to do, without the passive aggressive comments under posts.

Yes Brent, absolutely right. But the arrangement is still looser than say going to a mechanic shop. Paying fail is more like paying a busker. Sort of "I like what you do and want you to continue. Here's some money to make that happen". The fact is Fail would be producing hardly any reactions at all if he were working a 9-5. But unless I receive absolutely horrible service, I'm not going to make a big huff or leave a 1 star review at a business, I'm just going to quietly find somewhere better. THAT'S capitalism. As for the value we get, well I watch everything but Office and Stranger Things(and with 3 of 9 eps of S4 done, that's not gonna last long). For $20 a month, I get somewhere between 20-30 hour long reactions a month. That's an hour of entertainment for an average of $0.66-$1, and I could be at the $13.50 tier and still get that(which would make each reaction between 45 and 66 cents or so). Depending on the type of screen, a movie ticket tends to land between the 2 tiers in price, and that only gets you 2-3 hours of entertainment(granted on a huge screen and brand new content rather than a reaction to content you've likely seen but still). I more than get my money's worth(and frankly so are you, since I've seen you commenting on most of the shows he reacts to as well). Now if we're talking about someone like Demijan/Brookline, he was only here for XF, and at the rate that uploads, he's only getting 2-3 reactions a month. Frankly I wouldn't consider that worth even the $13.50 tier. It's not his decision to drop in and binge every 6 months that's a problem, we get that. It's the fact he was being a bitch about it for MONTHS, which frankly only makes the situation worse. He flat out said on discord he was going to record Buffy/Angel last night and the first thing he was is your comment whining about consistency, and let's just say it did not serve as motivation. You know how we all hate the Karens who demand to speak to the manager and hold up the check out line rather than just quietly taking their business elsewhere. That's you guys who come on here exclusively just to complain. Don't be Karens. Lastly, a lot of us aren't JUST paying for reactions, we also appreciate the community that's sprung up around them. People we can talk about the episodes with, connections we make. The comment tirades don't just drag Fail down, they drag the rest of us down too.

lol Brent, you've been complaining about the scheduling since Buffy started. Like, what, for a year and a half now? Saying "oh, I'm close to going now!" is just really funny. Also, I'm obviously not going to speak for everyone regarding the money, but $20 a month is kinda nothing to me and I don't feel like I'm overpaying at all especially when, as Timothy said, there's a community here. I get that there isn't for you, because you just drop in to leave complaints, but for some people they're also paying to hang out with other people and game and do watchalongs and the like, it also probably keeps them busy so they're not constantly hitting the refresh button on Patreon.

Obviously, no one here understands the knowledge you two keep insisting on mansplaining to the rest of us ignorant dum-dums. Frankly, I see nothing BUT understanding from the majority of commenters here, and, as adults, the most basic UNDERSTANDING that we all make decisions and deal with the consequences that follow. You really don't need to involve, or alert, the entirety of any comment section when you are unhappy, or start to second-guess, your personal financial decisions. That's not what we're here for.

Thank you all for the feedback. And to anyone who has said I don't give positive responses, or only complain all the time, I very much have given many positive responses to video reactions right here on Patreon. The majority of posts I have responded to, given my thanks to FailWhale for the reaction, and provided my feedback on the episode and reaction, the majority, were positive. Yes, I'll admit I probably complain more than people want to see, but my positive feedback does outweigh the negative, and my negative complaints are not without merit. This is an open forum, and I'm exercising my privilege to leave feedback. My only hope is that FailWhale sees our posts here, and I'm not 100% sure he reads them all. So a lot of times I feel like it doesn't matter anyway.

No offense intended, Brent, but because of how many negative comments you leave complaining about how things are falling short of your expectations (going on about 2 years now), your insistence to thank before proceeding to inevitably bitch about something, has always come across as tongue-in-cheek or as a snide aside, from my humble perspective. I would also wager that Fail is well aware of your criticisms, and I will kindly suggest that if you feel your comments are falling on deaf ears, and don't matter anyway, it's time to focus your energy on something else.
