Love this show! 1. Buffy was on from 1997-2002. Farscape was 1999-2003 so they sorta ran parallels 2. This 4th season a lot like S1 so it will be slow for a few more episodes. It will take awhile to get this season on to the meat and then the gravy of what we liked in S2 and 3. You will want to get through it though because it does pick up. Still one of the best shows out there. Probably not my favorite episode but at least Aeryn is back. Now the season can start.

Timothy Nikiforovs

Yeah this episode isn't fantastic, but it's got some interesting things going on. I haven't seen this one before, but I had seen a clip of Aeryn all "Scorpied" up and assumed it was either a hallucination or alternate universe or some such. Didn't realize it wasn't as, invasive, as Scorpius getup. Claudia did a great job mimicking Scorpius mannerisms. Ultimately like a lot of the eps of this season so far, it feels like setup more than anything. Scorpy is following the same path more or less as Crais it seems. They may have ditched Harvey if they don't need him now that the real deal in on Moya to interact with John, but it would be a shame, given how entertaining he was. Sikozu is finding her place in Moya's hierarchy, and speaking of that it'll be interesting to have a straight up leader rather than everything being decided by either committee, shouting matches, or rock/paper/scissors. John is the guy who always has the plans, and he is the lead, so he'd make sense. Speaking of John's plans, I think in that last SG1 ep when Vala says she's heard better plans, and Mitchell says he kinda likes it, that it was supposed to be a Farscape reference. They got the band back together at least, plus a couple extra players. 1 less thing to work out before getting to the main event.

I'm not sure where you got your dates from, but Farscape started in 1999, and Buffy started in 1997, so technically he could have seen 2 seasons of Buffy at the very least. I'm surprised you didn't gel with it, it's the team coming together, its what we all wanted, and it was unexpected how she was in the outfit, with Scorpius, a lot of time had passed. This episode is about trusting Scorpius, and getting the awkwardness out of the way, remember, they left on very awkward terms. So of course they would feel awkward coming back together. It's a transition episode. /shrug, I liked it, and now we have the gang back together, and the season is setup, now we can begin.
