yeah honestly for me, this is one of my least fave eps in the show. I also don't really know why. I think there was an interview back in the day about Percival's lack of sleeves, I'll have to link in discord if I can find it

Damn, hope Leon and the others apologized to Merlin and Gwen after that. Yeah, not the greatest episode, but at least it wasn't that troll bullshit again. Would have laughed my ass off if Lamia in her true form ended up eating Agravaine. It'd be hilarious for him to die when he wasn't even scheming.

An ok episode. I'm alright with it if we didn't seem to get a lot of those. Not good or bad, just going with the motions again. Classic harmless tea time telly.

I feel like this episode is the subtle point being made of Merlin is now keeping his secret by default, Arthur is King, the Kinghts are all in danger, Merlin knew he was powerful enough to stop this woman, and yet he won't risk it. He won't even risk Gwen knowing. The hard and fast- I would be immediately executed if found out- thing of when Uther was King isn't really there. He's at risk yes, but Arthur would hear him out, the Knights would- or Gwaine at least would try to protect him. If he saved them all and Gwen saw it- it's not exactly super risky. But it's like the habit has become so ingrained Merlin won't risk trusting anyone and in this episode that's kind of frustrating.
