A fantastic reaction video to a phenomenal episode! Your thoughts at the end pretty much summed up everything there is to say about it. Many say it's a masterpiece finale, quality wise I'd say it's on the same level as "The Erlenmeyer Flask" and "Colony" (among other episodes). I'm surprised you didn't pick up it was Krycek right away in the bathroom, but then again his hair and clothes are different than when we first met him. You appeared truly hooked to the episode from start to finish. Great stuff, can't wait for the season three premiere. :D

Wasn’t Chris Carter one of the guys in Skinner’s office?

What a finale! Onwards to season 3...

The year is 1995 FailWhale. Season 2 of X-Files started in late 1994 and continued through to spring of 1995, so for this episode, we are in '95.

You are right, we didn't know about Mulder's father's involvement, till now. That's a "what a twist" moment. How's Mulder going to get out of this, hope there was an emergency exit inside the train car :o What could this all mean, vaccinations, experimentation, aliens, humans, it sounds like it's all been going on for a very long time though since the 40's at least. Yikes. It's funny, cause if this were modern times that kind of encryption into an Indian language wouldn't be that powerful today to protect secrets. It could easily be translated by modern AI or just straight-up googling lol. Today it'd be encrypted in much more sophisticated ways, but back then that was enough heh, but it did sound like they didn't really plan for Computers to allow access to all of it, that just kind of happened. Originally I guess it was all hard copy at the start, and in another language, so it would have been hard to crack till the age of computers.

Hats off to Scully for always being such a rock. No matter how crazy Mulder gets, she always keeps a level head. Even if she has to put a bullet in him.
